Laser-cut and bent parts made of stainless steel
Every assembly begins with a precise cut. Our fiber flatbed laser processes sheet metal up to 3.000 × 1.500 mm with material thicknesses from 0,5 to 20 mm. This is followed by bending on a CNC press brake with 170 t of pressing force, with bending lengths up to 3.000 mm and sheet thicknesses up to 12 mm.
We manufacture laser-cut parts, bent parts, drip trays, sheet metal containers and welded assemblies, precisely according to your drawings in DXF, DWG or STEP format.

Welded assemblies made of stainless steel
We manufacture complex assemblies for mechanical and pipe installation, from individual pieces to small series. The appropriate process is used depending on the component and requirements. TIG manual welding is used for precise and visually flawless joints, TIG orbital welding for pipe sections and circular assemblies, and MIG welding for frame structures and support materials.
All assemblies are inspected for dimensional accuracy and weld quality upon completion. Upon request, we can provide complete documentation packages including material certificates and test reports.
Hygienic welding for food processing machinery and pharmaceutical plants
Manufacturers of machinery for the food, beverage, or pharmaceutical industries must already meet the end customer's requirements as suppliers. The Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC obliges machine manufacturers to design their machinery for easy cleaning. This results in direct requirements for welds, surfaces, and material documentation.
STW is an EHEDG member and a certified welding company according to DIN EN ISO 3834-2. The requirements for surface roughness, weld quality, and documentation are well-established in practice. Accordingly, assemblies are manufactured that demonstrably meet these requirements.
The right welding process for your application
Not every assembly requires the same welding process. The crucial factor is selecting the appropriate process based on the geometry, material, and application. STW employs three processes, which can be used individually or in combination depending on the requirements:
TIG manual welding This is the standard method for precise and visually flawless joints on stainless steel assemblies. It offers maximum flexibility for varying geometries, hard-to-reach areas, and individual parts. At the same time, it produces clean welds that generally require no further work beyond cleaning. In mechanical engineering, this method is primarily used for housings, tanks, brackets, and custom designs.
TIG orbital welding This process is used wherever pipe sections or circular assemblies need to be manufactured with consistent and documented quality. The welding head moves fully automatically around the pipe, each weld is performed according to the same specifications, and all parameters are recorded. For machine manufacturers supplying equipment for the food or pharmaceutical industries, this method is often necessary to meet the end customer's documentation requirements. STW performs orbital welding on pipes up to a diameter of 168,3 mm.
MIG welding It is used in frame constructions, support materials, and structural connections where cost-effectiveness and speed are paramount and there are no hygienic requirements for the seam. Typical applications include machine bases, transport racks, and support structures.

The facilities are also designed for demanding projects. With 3.000 m² of prefabrication space, concrete core heating for stable production conditions, and complete coverage of the production halls with overhead cranes with lifting capacities of 3,5 to 6,5 tons, even large, heavy, or urgently needed assemblies can be reliably manufactured.
The necessary certifications are in place. STW is certified according to ISO 3834-2, EN 1090-1 and EN 1090-2, as well as AD 2000-Merkblatt HP-0. These certifications are crucial for applications requiring CE marking and for assemblies in regulated industries. Material availability is also guaranteed. Stainless steel grades 1.4301 and 1.4404 are permanently in stock, allowing projects to commence without delay.

Yes. With bridge cranes up to 6,5 t lifting capacity and 3.000 m² of prefabrication area, STW also manufactures and handles heavy and bulky assemblies as well as machine frames made of stainless steel.
