Aggressive media & salinity

Besides traditional beverages, many of our customers also process liquid food products such as sauces, soups, and ketchup. The salt content, combined with the acidity of these products, places particular demands on the corrosion resistance of welds. Here, in particular, the professional execution of welds, taking into account suitable welding consumables and weld treatment, is extremely important to prevent pitting and corrosion in the long term, even with aggressive media.

The secret lies in the preparation. We work with you to define precise timeframes. By prefabricating components in our workshop, we minimize on-site work. Furthermore, we prepare the construction site (walkways, utility connections) so that work can resume immediately and effectively the moment a shutdown occurs.

Often the problem isn't the weld, but the automation. If valves close too quickly, hydraulic pressure surges occur, acting like hammer blows on the pipe system. This can tear off supports and destroy seals.

The type of product determines the hygienic design. Mineral water is microbiologically more stable than protein-rich drinks or milk.
